KRISHNA-TV is a Tamil/English TV Channel dedicated to Indian Heritage – Music, Dance, Art, Culture, History, Philosophy, Mythology and Spirituality, performing a social and spiritual role in the transformation of India to live up to the dreams of Sri Ramakrishna, Swami Vivekananda, Ramalinga Adigal, Sri Aurobindo, and other leaders of the Indian Renaissance.
Krishnaswamy Associates Media Renaissance (KAMR) was founded as a Not-For-Profit initiative, registered in 2009 under Section 25 of the Indian Companies Act (comparable to a Public Charitable Trust), with the objective of establishing KRISHNA-TV as a value-based TV Channel – for healthy entertainment and Spiritual Awakening.
Dr. S. Krishnaswamy & Dr. Mohana Krishnaswamy – the founders of KAMR – and their company, Krishnaswamy Associates (P) Ltd., (which will celebrate its Golden Jubilee in 2013) have contributed about Rupees 4.5 Crore, along with their friends, by way of donations to KAMR.
